The long awaited day has arrived.......finally!

Today, Wednesday, June 3rd our agency officially received the file of our son! It has been a looooong 40 wks of waiting, praying, and watching God’s hand fulfill each promise and move on our behalf, all in His perfect timing. Somehow it seems a bit surreal but I have moments of great emotion as well!! I don't have the words to express my gratitude to all involved in this process-thank you first and foremost to My Heavenly Father who is always faithful to His promises, thank you also to April, Janell, Karla, Laine, Lily, Melissa, Sherri and Stacy!! Each one of you hold a very special place in my heart for it is with your prayers, encouragement, listening ears, and friendship that I have transversed through the details of this incredible journey.

March 7, 2008 Inquire to agency listing him, begin praying
May 2008 Commit to bringing Jian home-on Mother's Day
June-August 2008 Challenges securing homestudy provider (another long story)
July 2008 LOI to China
Aug 21(verbal)-Sept 4, 2008(written) Adoption termination by agency
Aug/Sept??-PA issued for Knorr family
Sept 4, 2008-March 10, 2009 Wait for file to be returned to China
March 11, 2009 Receive confirmation that Knorr boy has been "SENT BACK"
March 12 -June 2, 2009 More waiting to secure file
May 11, 2009 DTC with new agency!
June 3, 2009 File arrives at our new agency!!!! We are MATCHED!!
Whew! I am so happy, excited, and ready to be on this side of the mountain!
